Barking Mad FarmDiana and James Hunter are living a lifelong dream of owning their own Bed and Breakfast Inn.

Diana comes from England and spent time crewing on yachts before becoming chef at Montpelier Hotel on Nevis in the Caribbean and then managing the exclusive Nesbit Plantation Inn. She lived in Carmel Valley, California, for over 30 years managing commercial real estate and then as a professional fundraiser. Diana was involved with the local humane society and Carmel Bach Festival for many years. Her passion is trail riding or working cattle on horseback (with faithful hounds in tow!), her 23 year old son is working for ESPN in Hartford, CT, and cooking. With small bribes she will part with some of her unique recipes.

James (known as Hunter) hails from Victoria in British Columbia and spent over 20 years in Hollywood as a screenwriter and writer of short stories. He is a “jack of all trades” at heart who can be found in his small studio, “Hunter Moon Range Wear,” carving leather for stunning chaps, chinks or purses and always has a yarn to spin or a tale to tell.
