Pets are always welcome at BMF. We offer a great, 8 acre ‘dog park’ for your pet to run in. Dog cookies, towels, and treats are always available. There are over 4 million acres of the Hells Canyon and Eagle Cap wildernesses to explore.We can help you plan a day exploring the wilderness.
Parking & Storage There is ample parking and easy turnaround for cars, trailers and boats, and storage for bikes, boats and other outdoor equipment.
Ask us about Bird of Prey, Wildflower and wolf habitat tours...Wallowa County is host to Oregon's only two wolf packs. The Zumwalt Prairie, one of the last bunchgrass prairies is home to one of the largest raptor concentrations in the country, vast herds of elk and wildflowers as far as the eye can see in the summer. Thousands of acres are owned by The Nature Conservancy. We can help plan visits, photography expeditions and meetings with biologists, conservationists and ranchers.
