FROM OUR GUESTBOOK

Barking Mad Farm"Showed off a bunch of photos this morning to my workout buddies who were suitably impressed with the wonder of it all — especially the photo showing the breakfast table in the foreground and the stupendous view!!! I still relish the joy of standing in the field at 6:05 am Saturday morning, fresh coffee in hand (thanks Hunter), happy dog running around, warm sun on my back. We have a great photo of Rosco at the back door hanging over the fence to greet arrivals. —Ross and Allison, Salem

"Even the dogs were depressed for days after we left — there are NO other 8 acre dogs parks with a stream for our pleasure" —Tim and Erica, Port Angeles, Washington.

“How does one describe perfection... our visit was just that”
Joe and Flo, Sisters, Oregon..

"All I could think about during the last few miles was getting back in time for Diana’s amazing breakfast!"
Frank, Eagle Cap Extreme Dog Sled Race musher. Comment at 2009 awards banquet.

“Diana and Hunter have set a new bar to judge all bed and breakfast places. We've stayed at over 100 B&B's and the BMF far exceeds ANY place we've been to! Their attention to detail is incredible, and they are the most entertaining and enjoyable hosts we've had the pleasure of meeting. After one weekend, it’s like they are our best friends. We also have to mention our deep respect for their efforts rescuing animals and making the community a better place. Incredible hospitality, laughs, the gourmet breakfasts and your wonderful cozy location. It was a weekend we won’t forget.” —Ruth and Dusty, Boise

“Christmas at Barking Mad Farm is something I’ll never, ever forget… and it even snowed! The best ever”
—Jamie, Santa Barbara, California

“We leave feeling a fondness for the view and the perfect countryside - but mostly so happy to have had such great conversations with people that we will never forget. It is true that we came as strangers and left as friends.”
Jamie, Chris and Kai, Seattle, WA

“We are here for the 4th time to see the valley in different seasons - and of course to enjoy Diana and Hunter’s stimulating conversations and great take on life. We love this place and the access it gives us to the beauty and history and timelessnes of the area. Back soon.”
—Rick and Laura, Poulsbo, WA

“Gorgeous views, REAL towels, lovely pets and gracious hosts - a great combination. Thanks for the travel and adventure ideas and opening your hearts to both people and pets in need.”
—Lori and Diane, Vancouver, WA

“GREAT breakfasts, comfy bed, fine hosts, beautiful setting. Barking Mad captures the spirit of Oregon’s last best place. Tim, Reedsport, OR. PS: I specially enjoyed the day spent here where I did absolutely nothing in the hammock with iced tea, and then rested afterwards. I shall remember fondly my new friends and pet pals. Thank you”
